They adore their parents. I want that with my kids.

Who doesn’t want a strong, godly relationship with their kids? In Colossians 3:21 it says, "Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged." Parents we can either build our kids up or tear them down. There’s a way to teach them biblical truths without beating them up with Bible verses. Jesus did, right? One way is to spend quality time with them, slipping in Scripture when appropriate. It can happen when you’re walking, playing, or eating dinner. We can also show them love and grace (like Jesus), even in our discipline. But it takes intentionality and time – something that many parents say they don’t have enough of. If WE don’t make time, someone WILL.
